Interpreta, Inc., an analytics service company that delivers population and single member analytics for precision medicine, has been certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) 2016 Measures.

The Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) is a tool used by more than 90 percent of America’s health plans to measure performance on important dimensions of care and service. HEDIS consists of approximately 80 measures across five domains.

“We are proud to achieve HEDIS certification so early in the year,” said Raghu Sugavanam, co-founder and chief technology officer at Interpreta. “The HEDIS certification confirms the accuracy of the data processed within our scalable, high-speed analytics engine, which examines large data sets daily. We are currently able to process four million patients within just a few hours.”

Because health unfolds in a continuous stream, Interpreta provides a continuous system of predictive analytics on an enterprise scale. Through daily re-computation of analytics and genomic information, the company helps health plans, ACOs and health systems prevent gaps in care and tailor therapies to individual patients, while increasing the efficiency of the healthcare system.
